I've been using this FolderSync for many years. I'd say 10+. the reason I keep using it is that it is extremely flexible. you can sync some from your phone to and from almost anywhere. my most "completed" setup syncs files from a computer, to my phone and then to a NAS. I also use it to sync photos from my pixel 8 to a NAS so my pixel 1 can download then from the NAS - and then my pixel 1 uploads them to Google using Google photos - and all pictures/videos are backed up at 100% quality

Update 2024: Remains one of the very few apps I use almost daily. This rsync wrapper does the job quite nicely and has plenty of options. Update Oct 2015: has become rock solid so upgrading rating to a 5. JUL2015: So far so good. Would be 5 stars except that I've seen a few times when updated files wouldn't sync. Not enough data yet to find trend for this seeming error. However having one button press to sync music, photos, data, whatnot to/from my server is very convenient.
